This 20-minute video installation was shown in a small room at the back of the south gallery where “Bodhisattva Pond” was exhibited in the solo exhibition “and the world is mud” .
When you enter the room, you see moving images on the wall: Water shield greens swaying in the deep mud pond and mud particles dancing like dust. If you look closely, you can see tiny plankton and other underwater creatures wriggling lively in all directions, a scene that makes us forget about gravity and the relationship between heaven and earth, as if we had entered a portal to another world. Natural light illuminates the mud world that we do not usually glimpse and reveals the entrance to the deep mud world to us.
